It’s time for our student of the month feature, where we showcase one of the most promising and impressive photographers who has come though the doors at Photoion.
If you’re lucky to be chosen as student of the month, you’ll receive a £50 voucher which can be redeemed at any of our courses!
This month we sat down with Adriana Ayala to hear about her journey so far and her inspiring hopes for the future…
“Five years ago I bought my first camera and joined a photography course, but I never completed it because I was too focused on giving my best to the corporate world. About a month ago, I decided to quit my day job and pursue a lifetime dream – to live for photography. This is how I joined Photoion’s workshop.
“I’m mostly interested in people photography. I see myself combining the aesthetics of fashion with storytelling, as a way of documenting the injustices and wonders of this world.
“My short-term goal is to develop my technical skills as much as possible, from lighting to posing to post-production, and become a part of the photographers’ community. I want to find the people and brands that hopefully I will get to work with one day.
“Ultimately, I want to create great work, and inspire great work. Photography is the shortest form of storytelling, but it is the one that communicates the most to me.”
