Festive greetings Photoion students and photography fans, it’s time for one of our Photo of the Month Competition and this month, it’s a “Your best photo of the year” competition.

Photography is about telling stories and we all tell stories in our own way. For this months competition, you can submit any type of photograph you like – nature and wildlife, landscape and aerial, or portrait and close-up photography. The options are limitless. We want to see your best work from 2018. Perhaps it’s a snowy wildlife scene from early 2018, a coastal photo from the hot and heavy summer or a snapshot that captures an important family moment. The only requirement is that the photo must have been taken this year.

Photo of the Month – How to enter:

To enter the Photoion Photo of the Month competition, and have a chance at winning £100 in Photoion course vouchers, send us your best picture using the form below. Images should be in JPEG format, and no smaller than 1000 pixels on their widest side. Only one image per person is accepted.

In order for us to confirm the date the photograph was taken, the winner will also need to send the original RAW file or an untouched camera jpeg so we can confirm a date a photo was taken. You will need to do this within 5 days. If you fail to do so, Photoion reserves the right to either offer the prize to a runner-up or to re-offer the prize in any future Competition.

Entry opens on 1st December and closes 23:59 31st December.

The winning entry will be selected by a panel of Photoion Photography School judges. Judges decision is final.
