It’s time again for the Photo of the Month competition. Each month we hold a competition with a new theme that gives you the chance to win £100 in Photoion course vouchers.

This month’s topic will be Silhouettes.

This competition will help you to compose stronger images by forcing you to focus purely on the shapes of your subject and their framing.

By choosing different times of day to capture your image, you can drastically change the tone of the picture. Taking a picture during Golden Hour will produce a dream-like result, where taking a silhouette image in the day will produce something much more start and contrasting.

How to Enter

To enter the Photoion Photo of the Month competition, and have a chance at winning the £100 in Photoion course vouchers, send us your best picture using the form below. Images should be in JPEG format, and no smaller than 1000 pixels on their widest side. Only one entry per person is accepted.

Entry opens on Saturday 1st April 2018 and closes Monday 23:59 30th April 2018.

The winning entry will be selected by a panel of Photoion Photography School judges. Judges decision is final.
